April to May, 2015 and July to August, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
It was a homely feeling. We were a group of 4 students. We would go to Birinder Sir’s Home Office.
Main tasks
Main tasks were to read and analyze the briefs we were given.
The cases were later discussed and we were explained how and why the things went by. All our queries were answered. We were also explained how the situation would have been handled had we got the case of the opposing party.
We were made to attend client counselling sessions and deliberate up on what should we do in such a case. We would come up with solutions and sir would tell us how would that be an asset or a liability.
We were taught procedures in the simplest of ways.
Work environment and people
The work environment was relaxed and was very supportive. Being first years we were guided in whatever was the best manner, that was talking and explaining.
Best things
Sir would give us life lessons and talked like the most humane person that ever existed. He is very accommodating in nature.
Bad things
There wasn’t much work as for an intern, that too of the first year.

Learnt to have a strong emotional side.

Accommodation
It was an Evening Internship, my hostel is near by so didn’t need one.
Office Timings
Office time was 5 to 7 in the evening, and were pretty relaxed. We could take offs if the need be. Sir was the most accommodating senior I have ever come across.
