First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Since, on the confirmation call, I was given the reporting time at 10:30 by the advocate, so I was well dressed for my very first day.. As it was my first internship with the advocate so i was very excited about all the court work and etc.
The very first day, only the basic formalities were fulfilled such as filling up the form for daily pass and later the monthly pass to enter the Court’s premises.
Then, the Advocate introduced me to his associates where they asked me to maintain a small diary to note down their daily matters, next hearing dates etc.
The chamber is as usual surrounded with various Acts and books.
Main tasks
As I was very interested to attend the court proceeding so My tasks were:
• Attended court proceedings.
• Read the judgments and did translation.
• Client counseling session
• Visited juvenile board
Work environment and people
Advocates usually makes everything simple and easy to learn and cope up wit, so I found the was pretty good.
Best things
The client counselling was the best things.
Bad things
The research work which you have to do every day, its just boring.

I learned a lot about litigation which we cannot read in the book and experienced it in practical life
