Application Process

Since the internship was provided by the internship cell of my institute, hence there was no application process involved than to just submit a CV to the cell.

Duration of internship and timings

1st January, 2015 to 15th January, 2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

It was quite formal on the first day when everyone has to wear formals in the court and give their names to the secretary to be on the roll list of the court. The infrastructure was same as that of a court consisting of a three judge panel.

Main tasks

The main tasks were to observe the court proceedings and cases disposal. We were further asked questions by the Judge and could even get our queries solved.

Work environment and people

Work environment was pretty formal as interning in the court one is left with no scope of fun.

Best things

The best thing was the questionnaire prepared by the judge that made us understood the Consumer protection act more deeply.

Bad things

The only bad thing was that there was no much learning. though we learnt the cases and procedure but could not learn how to represent it.
