First Day
Law firm was located at very awesome place. We were asked to report at 6 in the evening and entering the office, I was like this is the office I always wanted.Law book shelves were arranged, Case files were there and Associates were working on their own computer.
We met our mentor Peeyosh Sir and he told us about his firm and regarding the timings and were asked to report at the High court with proper law suit.
Infrastructure was awesome. Fully wifi office and it was too good working there.
Main tasks
Main tasks were reading case files regarding different civil issues and find the precedent of that.It was exciting to work there.
We were asked to see different case proceedings in Delhi High Court and learn the basic court functioning.
Work environment
Work environment as already said was awesome and something which I always wanted.
People there were the other associates involved in the firm. Honestly speaking these people were the best lawyer I have ever met. They were so nice and friendly.
Best things
Best thing was that there were lot of things to learn.
Nice environment.
Nice people.
So much case file to go through.
Delhi High Court Case Proceeding.
Bad things
There were no bad things although but then which I felt bad was our mentor asked his associates to guide us rather than himself seeing into our matter.
Secondly during our internship period he went out of the country knowing the fact that there are people in his firm who want to learn the basics of law.
Stipend
No Stipend.
Biggest Lessons
Learnt the basics of law and how a court functions.
What are the court fees and how to take out the case order and case details of when it is happening.
Anything else?
It was a awesome law firm overall and a law student once must go here if he/she wants to learn the basic of law.
