First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Sir asked me the kind of work I am looking for and what were my expectations regarding the internship.
Then I was taken to my desk and given a file to read.
The office is in the basement, so it was not airy.
Main tasks
Research, preparing arguments, briefing the case and discussing it with the partner.
Work environment and people
The partner is really sweet and amazingly good at his work.
One of the associates was not so sweet and was loud. He also told the pantry boy not to serve coffee to the interns even though the partner told us that we could have whatever we wanted to.
The other associate was sensible and sweet.
Best things
The work and discussion sessions with the partner.
Bad things
Work environment. Sitting in a basement and working was a bit suffocating.

Be yourself. It doesn’t matter if you don’t “Behave” the way anyone tells you to.
