ABOUT
College of Legal Studies, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies is proud to host the 5th UPES National Client Counselling Competition, 2016.
This Client Counseling competition addresses fundamental skills necessary for all successful attorneys, namely the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issue. Competitors conduct an initial interview with a person playing the role of the client and then address both the client’s legal and non-legal issues.
Previous seasons of this competition were based on a wide range of Indian laws and statutes such as constitutional law, the contract law, law of torts, consumer laws, criminal laws and family laws which enunciated wide knowledge of law.
This edition is based on the laws related to the theme of this competition that is Electronic Disputes.
The Organising Committee of UPES has always endeavored to achieve higher standards with respect to every aspect of the competition, ranging from the quality of the problems to that of the judges and to ensure impeccable hospitality and professionalism. We cordially invite your institution to be a part of this experience and participate in the 5th UPES National Client Counseling Competition,2016.
