About the Organizer
National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is an autonomous law school in India located in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established in 2009 through an Act passed by the State Legislature of Assam as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education.
The Centre for Clinical Legal Education and Legal Aid Cell (CCLE-LAC) of National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam was established in the year 2013, with the mandate of upholding and reciprocating Article 39A of the Constitution of India.
About the Quiz Competition
As a part of its research and awareness activities, the Centre for Clinical Legal Education and Legal Aid Cell (CCLELAC), takes immense pleasure to present to you the 2nd edition of NLUJAA National Law Quiz Competition, 2019 which will take place on 15th November, 2019 at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam campus, Amingaon, Hajo Road, Guwahati- 31.
It will give the law students and working professionals an excellent platform for grooming themselves as all-round professionals, and enhance academic knowledge regarding law and foster interaction among students.
The Centre emphasize special efforts and vision need to put in to improve their communication and presentation skills and extracurricular activities for the overall development of their personality.
It also allows students and professionals to apply legal theories and knowledge in a practical conflicting situation. The event will help in assessing the students’ performance and to promote self-learning process.
Prizes
1st: 15,000 + Running Trophy+ Certificate of Excellence
2nd: 10,000 + Trophy+ Certificate of Excellence
3rd: 5,000 + Trophy+ Certificate of Excellence
Consolation: All the participants would be provided with the Certificate of Participation.
Registration Details
Date of Event: 9th November 2019
Registration: No registration fee.
To Register: send a mail to nlualac[at]nluassam.ac.in on or before 7th November 2019, stating the name of the Team Members.
Each team shall consist of Two Members at max.
No TA and DA would be provided by the Centre.
