About the Workshop

Birla School of Law is organising a one day workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights” on September 4, 2019 (Wednesday) in Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar.

Intellectual property refers to the creations of the human mind and includes inventions, literary and artistic works and symbols, names and images, used in commerce. Broadly intellectual property is divided into two categories: copyright and related rights and industrial property which covers patents for inventions, trademarks and industrial designs. Modern society witnesses an expansion of trade and industry.
