Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University is hosting a National Symposium on Intellectual Property Law in context of Information Technology Laws on 14th September 2019 at Dehradun from 10.00 a.m. onwards.
Mr. Rodney D. Ryder, Partner, Scriboard and Advisor, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India and Advocate Mr. Piyush Joshi will be delivering the keynote address on “Intellectual Property Law in context of Information Technology Laws” followed by an open discussion forum.
About the Resource Person
Rodney D. Ryder is a partner with Scriboard; a full-service law firm with intellectual property, technology and media specialist practice. He is presently Advisor to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India on the implementation of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
He is the author of Guide to Cyber Laws: The Information Technology Act, 2000; E-Commerce, Data Protection and the Internet, the first section-wise analysis of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000; Intellectual Property
and the Internet. Mr. Ryder has been nominated as a ‘Leading Lawyer’ in his areas of practice by Asia Law, Who’sWhoLegal amongst other International publications.
