Siyasat India Youth Summit [July 14-15, Bhopal]: Registrations Open

Siyasat India Youth Summit is organized in association with Siyasat Welfare Foundation which is a registered and recognized foundation by Madhya Pradesh Government.

SIYS is a simulation of the parliamentary proceedings of a legislature and executive, based upon the Indian Parliamentary system & stimulation of United Nation, designed to help students understand diplomacy, international relations and the UN itself, while acquiring skills such as Public speaking, debating, writing, leadership, teamwork etc.

Siyasat India Youth Summit will host 8 committees, as given below:

1. Lok Sabha

Agenda : Deliberation over efficiently combating the instances of violence against women and the empowerment of women in the society.

2. All India Political Party Meet

Agenda: Review of the Reservation Policy with special emphasis on expanding the scope of Creamy Layer

3. All India Student Body Meet

Agenda: Deliberation upon the Current Education System and role of the student bodies in Educational Institutions

4. Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha

Agenda: Discussion on Vision 2022: A fully developed and self dependent state.

5. Law Commission of India

Agenda: Deliberation on the Fundamental Rights to die and Passive Euthanasia with special emphasis on Living Will

6. United Nations General Assembly- DISEC

Agenda: Measures to prevent terrorists from acquiring Weapons of Mass Destruction

7. United Nations High Commission For Refugees

Agenda: Economic and social integration of Protracted Refugee Population

8. United Nations Women

Agenda: i. Strengthening women’s participation in politics.
ii. Role of women in conflict and post conflict zones.

Alongside the given committees, there shall also be the Press Corps.
