About the organisation and Seminar
Shoolini University is organising a National Seminar on Changing Horizons of Criminal Justice System in India on 21st July at Indian International Centre, New Delhi, India.
The seminar aims to discuss and exchange ideas on the emerging dynamics & dimension of Indian Criminal Justice System in the light of contemporary legal developments of adultery laws, LGBT rights, Aadhar, freedom to worship and right to dissent which exemplify the promises and pitfalls of the practice.
The aim is to bring together students, academicians, and practitioners of Law to apply their views on Emerging Dynamics & Dimension of the Indian Constitution with respect to the prominent legal issues.

Call for Papers
In this regard, Shoolini University is calling the faculty members, research scholars, students and corporate members to present their research and participate in Seminar.
For the purpose of paper presentation, the suggested sub-theme are listed below, sub-themes are indicative of relevant research areas to give the prospective authors innovative prepositions about the ambit of discussion during the course of the seminar.
- Decriminalization of Adultery in Military: Policy Requirement or Invitation to Overreach.
- Decriminalizing Section 377 IPC: Right to choose my partner.
- Incorporation of ADR in Criminal Justice system: An alternative to speedy trial
- Judicial Law-making in India: ‘Transition from Activism to Overreach’
- Upholding Individual’s religion in a secular Criminal Justice System
- India in Inquisitorial Legal criminal system
- Unequal to be treated Differently: In light of Juvenile Justice Amendment Act 2015
How to register?
If one needs to apply for the seminar, they need to follow the following (Submission Procedure Section of the document).
Publication of Paper
Selected Papers guaranteeing merit & qualifying peer review shall be published in a UGC Recognized Journal by the Law School. All remaining paper will be published in the Seminar Book.
Submission Procedure
Please submit the Abstract not exceeding 600 words along with keywords. The text should be in MS Word, in Times New Roman with Font size 12 and 1.5 spaces between the lines.
Submit abstract to shooliniseminar2019[at]gmail.com by June 20, 2019. Please mention Author’s Name, Title of Paper, and Email & Contact Number in the body of the email.
