IFIM Law School, located in the heart of Electronic City, Bangalore, is a unit of IFIM Institutions which have been at the forefront of quality education in India for more than two decades. IFIM Law School, approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubballi was established in 2015 with an aim to impart quality legal education that will produce competent and socially responsible legal professionals.
IFIM Law School in order to imbibe ‘Social Responsibility’ amongst its law students has set-up Legal-Aid Clinic. This student-driven Clinic aims to provide free legal services to the needy people in and around Bangalore.
The Clinic also pledges to safeguard Women and Children from various forms of abuse and has launched SAFE HELPLINE through which an aggrieved can contact the Clinic for immediate assistance. In case of legal assistance, the Clinic has associated itself with District Legal Services Authority, Bangalore.
As part of its object, the Clinic is conducting the ‘Sensitization Programme on Promoting Effective Implementation of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 in Karnataka’ in association with Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA); Karnataka State Resource Centre for Senior Citizens & National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS) on 27th April 2019 at its Institution.
