About

Dharma Bharathi Mission (DBM) is a socio-spiritual organisation for nation-building that strives for for a hunger-free, caste-free and corruption-free India. In furtherance of its vision and mission, DBM is privileged to organize the maiden edition of Maharashtra MUN 2017, and is inviting all the emerging and young diplomats from undergraduate and post graduate colleges across the globe to register for the same.

Committees

We are simulating four committees discussing the most prominent yet unique issues across the globe. The agendas and break up of various committees is as follows:

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) – Conditioning border guidelines for socio-economic stability in epidemic endangered regions – 15 delegates

United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) – Reviewing the international development policies for global hunger and poverty reduction – 35 delegates

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) – Discussing narco terrorism as the financial backbone of terrorist organizations – 25 delegates

Lok Sabha – Combating corruption and black money in public life – 25 delegates

Registration Fee

Delegate registration fee of INR 1000/-

Cash Prizes

Apart from a stellar Executive Board to enhance the debate, there is cash prizes worth one lakh rupees.

The cash prizes for winners are as follows:

Best Delegate: INR 10,000/-

High Commendation: INR 7,500/-

Special Mention: INR 5,000/-
