Sahyog Care For You and Yogya- Empowering society is committed to support community causes for low-income families and individuals. By supporting these causes through children and youth we also support the mission of our organization by inculcating in the children a HABIT TO GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY.
ABOUT THE AWARDS
Sahyog Care For You and Yogya- Empowering society Children Community Awards is a recognition program based exclusively on children’s voluntary community service. The awards seek to honor middle and high school and college students for outstanding service to the community. This award is given in recognition of outstanding commitment to the community that demonstrates an exemplary devotion to create greater equity and opportunity
WHY SHOULD COLLEGE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THIS AWARD
The Sahyog Children Community Award will actively engage the youth to be the leaders of tomorrow. This initiative is formulated to imbibe the value of change-maker in each young soul of the nation. The institutions can also be a part of this transformation and facilitate our mission.
- The college with maximum participation will be awarded a trophy
- A “Best Mentor Trophy” will be presented to a teacher from that particular college.
- The Participated student will be getting a certificate of participation and a trophy if he/she falls in a rank of 1 to 3.
HOW TO APPLY
Application can be submitted individually or as a Group Activity with a maximum of six children including you.
MODES OF SUBMISSION
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Applications will be judged for the work done from January 2020 till date on:
- Motivation: (How much personal initiative was involved in the activity?)
- Impact: (How does the activity impact the community or other people)
- Commitment: (What personal sacrifices did the applicant make)
- Challenges: (Did the child have to overcome any problem or obstacles and from where he/she got the support to do that activity?)
- Innovation: Any new ideas or concept?
Awards/Recognition/Scholarship Program: The various category winners will be awarded a merit certificate and a trophy to recognize excellence in their work. Gift vouchers will also be provided.
We will be offering scholarship to the winner who stands first in each of the category. The scholarship will be to pursue the selected community work.
