TEDxNLUJAA is presenting some of the greatest and renowned personalities. TED is a global platform devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
TEDx is a locally organised event that focuses on individuals and innovation in various cities.
The individuals involved with TEDxNLUJAA have a passion for spreading stories worth telling. We believe in the power of stories to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.
THE HISTORY BEHIND US
TED began in 1984 as a gathering place for innovators and leaders in the field of Technology , Entertainment and Design. 26 years later, TED has become a nexus for a global community of individuals who believe in the power of Ideas Worth Spreading.
WHAT IS TED
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).
TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
WHAT IS TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx – local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED – like experience at a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussions and connection in a small group these local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.
The TED conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self- Organized.
WHAT IS TEDxNLUJAA
The TEDxNLUJAA is an independently organized TEDx event under the aegis of National Law University, Assam.
With the organization of TEDxNLUJAA, we are going to be the third National Law University in India to organize an independent TEDx event.
TEDxNLUJAA, will be a ‘Glorious’ blend of ideas in between the legal fraternity and contemporary innovative ideas, where the audience will be mesmerized by the perfect potion of innovation, path breaking ideas and legal principles.
How these things shape our lives? And How we can shape the world and ideas around us?
