Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru, in collaboration with Surana & Surana International Attorneys, Chennai, is organising the 2nd Surana & Surana International Essay Competition, 2018.
Themes for the Essay Competition:
- Media and Communication Law vis-à-vis Data Protection
- Media and Communication Law vis-à-vis Censorship
- Media and Communication Law vis-à-vis Sports
- Media & Communication Law vis-à-vis Privacy Issue
Registration Fee: No Registration Fee
Eligibility Criteria: The competition is open to the students who are pursuing their B.A.LLB. / LL.M./ M.Phil./ Ph.D./ or any other undergraduate or masters courses (other than Law) in any university across the world.
Co-authorship to a maximum of two authors is permitted.
Deadline Extended for Submission: 12th Aug 2018
Declaration of Results: November 2018
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000
- 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000
- 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000
Top 15 papers will be published in the form of an edited book with an ISBN No. The list of these selected papers will be displayed on the RCL website.
Author(s) of the selected essay will be given a consolation prize of Rs. 1,000 each along with the certificate of publications (except the top three winners of the competition).
