With a vision to “Equip the Youth to Unite the World”, On 1st November, 2013, Oyster International Trust of Model United Nations was established in order to fulfill the goals of the United Nations by supporting the youth and training them via various kinds of seminars, workshops, brainstorming sessions, conferences, etc.
Team Oyster has planned a National Model United Nations Conference by the name of Oyster Model United Nations Conference’17 to be held on 29th – 30th April 2017 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and is determined to make it a success.
A lot of thoughts were given but finally, the focus area of the whole conference was declared to be “Unite the Changing World”. This will be a two – day conference in Jaipur, which shall have brainstorming assembly sessions keeping in mind the focus area.
This conference will involve students from different Institutions across the country. Also, the conference will be proud to have stakeholders, collaborators, guests and volunteers from United Nations Office, Educational Institutions and the corporates.
As per the Guidelines of United Nations Information Centre, we will strictly abide by the new procedure known as UN4MUN.
The procedure is quite different from the traditional MUN procedure and is much more close to the actual UN proceedings.
