Online Internship Opportunity @ Advocate Asheeta Regidi, Mumbai: Applications Open 

About the organisation:

Asheeta Regidi is an independent consultant in technology, privacy and cyber laws.

Nature of internship:

Applications are invited for an online, part-time internship, for the months of April, May, June and July. Two interns will be hired for each month.

The work is mainly research-based and may include drafting assistance. Research assignments for this month will mainly relate to the following fields/topics :

1. Technology law and policy (Big data, IoT, net neutrality, cloud computing, etc.);

2. Privacy and data protection laws including the GDPR; and

3. Any related fields.

Location:

The work is entirely online, so the location of the student is not important.

Who can apply:

Applications are open for students with a keen interest in technology or privacy laws. Previous experience in technology laws or knowledge of cyber laws is a plus but is not essential.

Stipend:

There is no stipend payable for part-time internships.

Duration of internship:

Currently, interns will be hired for a period of one month each, from April to July. Tenure may be extended based on the intern’s performance. At present openings are for part-time internships only.

Application procedure:

Students must apply with a covering letter, CV and one/two-page write-up on a topic of their choice, in any field relating to technology laws.

Note that the write-up forms an important part of the selection process. Applicants must not exceed the page limit for the write-up sent.
