The Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Law Reforms solicits your esteemed presence at the workshop on the ‘Working of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009’ (the Right to Education Act) scheduled for Thursday, 20 March, 2014 at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kalamassery.
For registration to participate in the workshop, please communicate by email to cpslr@nuals.ac.in. Last date for registration by email is 16 March 2014. Acceptance of registration will be communicated on or before 18 March, 2014.
The aim of the workshop is to assess the functioning of the Right to Education Act and to suggest measures to strengthen the right of all children to good quality and empowering education. The workshop aims to bring together a cross-section of stakeholders in the field of education for a balanced discussion.
It is anticipated that the deliberations will yield inputs for a constructive evaluation of the working of the Right to Education Act.
