The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, one of the eminent National Law Universities in India, is organising its first edition of ECOSOC Model United Nations as a part of its annual economic fest, AEQUITAS between April 18-19, 2015.
The agendas for AEQUITAS ECOSOC MUN 2015 are:
1) The economic funding of post conflict states
2) Devaluation of currency and economic competition
The conference will be themed on a simulation of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) [information HERE].
The Economic and Social Council is one of the principle organs of the United Nations that serves as the central forum for discussing international economic and social issues and for formulating policies for the same.
It is responsible for coordinating socio – economic related work for 14 United Nations specialised agencies, their functional commissions and five regional commissions.
Registration will be open until 30th of March.
The conference will take place on 18th and 19th of April. Prize money worth Rs. 20,000 to be won.
