About the Institute

The Government Law College, Kozhikode or Kozhikode Law College situated on the outskirts of Kozhikode, India, is owned by the Government of Kerala and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college caters to the needs of the north Malabar region of Kerala.

The Moot Court Society and The Students Union, Government Law College, Kozhikode is organising NOMIKÓS PÓLEMOS Law Fest 2019, scheduled on 09th, 10th, 11th and 12th of December, 2019. A four-day Fest comprising of a total of 7 events, which are:

1. Mediation Competition
2. Client Counseling Competition
3. Essay Writing Competition
4. Judgment Writing Competition
5. Law Quiz Competition
6. General Quiz Competition
7. Debate Competition

for the Mediation and Client Counseling Competitions, only a maximum of 16 teams will be allowed to participate on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Team Composition

Mediation: A 3-member team consisting of a Mediator, Advocate and Client

Client Counselling: 2 Advocates per team

Registration Fee

ADR-Mediation Competition

• The registration fee for ADR-Mediation Competition Participants who opted for accommodation facilities shall be Rs. 3000 per team
• The registration fee for others shall be Rs. 1500 per team

Client Counselling Competition

• The registration fee for Client Counselling Competition Participants who opted for accommodation facilities shall be Rs. 2500 per team.
• The registration fee for others shall be Rs. 1500 per team

Other Events: Registration Fee for all other events is Rs. 250 per person.
