The 9th edition of the NLS Debate kicked off today at the National Law School of India University campus.
Over the years, the NLS-D has proved to be a valuable platform to institutions across Asia for achieving excellence in debating.
The NLS Debate is known for the top-notch adjudication both by external adjudicators and the reputed pool of NLS adjudicators.
This years’ edition has a huge range of attractions. The adjudication core consists of LOGANDRAN BALAVIJENDRAN, two time Worlds’ adjudicator and the to-be Chief Adjudicator of Worlds’ at Botswana, SUTHEN TATE THOMAS, Asian Champion and Worlds’ Deputy Chief Adjudicator.
The debate has VIPUL NANDA as Chief Adjudicator, the to-be Deputy Chief Adjudicator for United Asians Debating Championships (UADC) 2011, Maanav Kumar and Sowjhanya Shankaran, both top-level national debaters. 60 teams from India and other parts of the sub-continent are participating in the NLS debate 2010.
This year the NLS-D will feature the tab software being used at UADC for a transparent system in the tabs and like last year there shall be a separate break for novices.
