Role
The Developmental Editor is primarily responsible for:
- Manuscript scheduling
- Communication with authors on regular basis
- Manuscript check (content/SME and technical)
- Submitting manuscript on time and within budget to production
- QA of covers, CD contents, print pages, online images, and e-book downloads
- Coordination with authors on proof pages and changes from proofs
Skills
- Degree in legal, tax, and/or accounting field (master’s level or above preferred)
- Strong written and spoken English language skills
- 4-6 years of experience in publishing and developmental editing
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and logistical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills and high degree of professionalism
Timings
9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Work from Home)
