Namit Oberoy is a Solo Attorney & Independent Counsel in Mumbai focused on Commercial Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Law.
He is looking for two (2) interns with a prior interest / experience in arbitration and international investment law.
Internship Description
Research-based internship where the intern will be expected to carry out extensive conceptual and empirical research in the field of International Investment Treaty Law and contemporary issues faced in enforcement of awards in Investment Treaty Arbitrations.
Eligibility
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior academic or practical experience in Investment Treaty Law. Research Papers (whether or not published), Internships where they have directed worked on ITA cases, or Moot Courts (such as FDI / Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot) are good indicators of niche experience.
- Preference will be given to academically inclined and research-oriented candidates.
Virtual internship
This is a virtual / remote internship which means that the interns can work out from anywhere in the world as long as they have a reliable computer, a decent internet connection, and Microsoft Word (licensed)
Tenure: Eight (8) weeks
Work hours: 8 hours a day except on Sundays.
Award
- Stipend of Rs. 15,000 (including a performance based bonus) subject to applicable taxes.
