In a major setback to Sakshi Television, owned by YSR Congress president Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy, News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) has found fault with the news channel and fined Rs 1 Lakh for telecasting a “flawed, one-sided and misleading story” on Nalsar University girl students.–Acting against their complaint, NBSA has investigated the matter and found fault with Sakshi TV which is the member of NBA. NBSA directed Sakshi TV to pay Rs 1 Lakh as penalty and asked the channel to run an apology in its scrolling for continuous three days- January 15,16 and 17.–
