University Five Year Law College (UFYLC) is one of the seven constituent colleges of University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. It was set up with the vision of equipping law aspirants with comprehensive analytical and practical legal knowledge in order to produce intellects who will strive for all round excellence.
It offers an integrated five year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program, which is divided into 10 semesters. Here, we bridge the gap between what goes on in classroom and what lawyers do in the real world. This commitment of integrating theory with practice enables us to impart quality legal education which caters to the demands of legal profession.
MUN
MUN aims to be nothing less than an authentic simulation of the United Nations – complete with a wide range of sub-committees, a Secretariat headed by the Secretary General, and of course, you, the delegates!
Representing countries from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, they gather to discuss some of the most pressing and intriguing problems that confront the world today.
From a developmental aspect, participants gain valuable skills in conflict-resolution, diplomacy, and oral and written communication skills It offers a truly unique experience, encompassing a wide variety of exciting social events that help delegates make memories and connections that will last a lifetime.
UFYLCMUN
UFYLCMUN strives to foster a constructive forum for open dialogue on complex global issues, including international peace and security and economic and social progress.
UFYLCMUN stresses the in-depth importance of balancing national interests with the needs of the international community, while also learning about the powers and limitations of international negotiation and examination and resolution of pressing issues, emphasizing process over product.
Thus, in a small way, MUN fulfils the aims and goals set out by the founders of the United Nations in the Preamble of the Charter: “to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours.”
