“Legally Yours”, India’s first newspaper on Law is now accepting applications from students of different law colleges for the position of ‘Student Correspondent’ [SC].
Legally Yours is a new experiment in the legal industry spearheaded by Bhopal based entrepreneur, Siby Sudhakaran.
Legal journalist and law school mentor, Raghul Sudheesh has recently joined the Legally Yours team as Executive Editor.
The ‘Student Correspondent’ will be primarily responsible for reporting events happening on their respective campus and also for generating exclusive content for law school related sections of the newspaper.
Exceptionally performing Student Correspondent candidates will be given additional responsibility of reporting and covering other mainstream law news for the paper.
The candidates will work closely with the Executive Editor and the Managing Editor and will have to assist them in various research works.
Students already working with other legal portals/magazines will be barred from applying.
Requirement: One Student Correspondent from each college.
Eligibility: Students from 2nd year onward of the 5 year or 3 year law course may apply.
Duration: Minimum commitment for a period of one year.
Application procedure: Interested students may send a copy of their resume along with a writing sample of not more than 750 words on a topic mentioned below–
i) Suresh Kumar v. Naz Foundation: Justice or denial
OR
ii) Any other contemporary legal issue.
