Job description
West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited is opening the job post of Manager/Deputy Manager – Corporate Legal.
- Day-to-day legal matters including contracts & agreements, court cases, mutation, liaison with Solicitors / Advocates and Govt. Departments.
- Handling all kinds of litigation and associated advisory aspects including Writs, Recovery, Arbitration, Suits, SICA, DRT, Company Law, CLB, Labour matters and IPR related issues.
- Handling matters related to land and property.
- Monitoring of all legal pending cases of the Corporation and ascertaining the tenability of these cases.
- Having knowledge in Civil/Criminal law including eviction, injunctions, money suits etc.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements related to lease, leave & license, Sale etc. and settling the matters in a manner that will not put the organization at risk.
- Coordinating with Solicitors/Advocates, being present in Court sessions during case hearings and consulting Senior Counsels as and when required, so as to enable effective and smooth business operations.

Eligibility
Essential: Must be a Law Graduate from a recognized College/University.
Desirable: Qualified CS from ICSI.
Experience: More than 12 years of post-qualification experience.
Salary
Rs. 11 Lakhs (approx.) per annum
