About the organisation

Kaleeswaram Raj & Associates is a pure litigation firm practising primarily in Administrative (Service) and Constitutional Law and also in Civil and Criminal Law. It is based at the High Court of Kerala and the Supreme Court of India. The law firm essentially deals with common man’s causes and tries to maintain a certain level of ethical autonomy. The firm believes in the praxis of fair advocacy.

Job Description

The nature of the work will involve client consultation, attending the High Court of Kerala, the Kerala Administrative Tribunal and the Central Administrative Tribunal. The work will also consist of preparing case notes, legal research, assistance to and briefing Mr. Kaleeswaram Raj in hearing matters. The firm is looking for a candidate with keen interest in litigation lawyering and someone who can work well in the team of associates. Applications are encouraged from underrepresented groups.

Location

Kochi. Currently, we are looking for associates for the Kochi office only.

Eligibility

Students who have completed five year law course or three year law course at the recognised law colleges of the country and enrolled as advocates will be preferred. However, final year students are also eligible to apply.

Salary

Between Rs. 180,000 and Rs. 3,60,000 per annum.
