ONLY BECAUSE TANUJ KALIA IS A MENTOR THIS ISN’T A SPONSORED POST. SOUNDS UNETHICAL. KEEP ALL OPPORTUNITIES EQUAL FOR ALL. ORGANIZATION WHICH YOU MENTOR CAN MAKE MONEY BY A FREE POST ON LAWCTOPUS, BUT NOT OTHERS. NOT AT ALL COOL
Hi Rahul, thank you for writing in caps. It makes your message legible. Also, thanks for mentioning the same thing on Linkedin as well. It’s great that you want to communicate with me on all platforms. Really love this spirit of open communication. Please post this message on Facebook as well. I heard Mark is suffering some losses due to covid. Let this little conversation bump up the traffic on Facebook.
Anyway, I am copy-pasting my reply from Linkedin. I hope I won’t be accused of plagiarism.
“Hi,
1. Why so much anger?
2. The normal posting cost for such a post would be Rs. 3000 + 18% GST (not 12,000). Side-note: Ads are the only way Lawctopus can be sustainable!
3. The founder of AILSF is a friend, I know his passion for the cause, plus what he is delivering is of excellent value for students.
I hope this resolves your questions.”
PS- All college events are published for free.
If an organizer is making money through his/her event, as a website that helps advertise the event (and market it really well), we are surely justified in charging.
Or I’ll be happy to know about alternative business models from you.
Cheers,
