Seminar Background
The Country adopted the policy of economic reforms under the guidance & leadership of Sh. P.V. Narsimha Rao (Former Prime Minister) and Dr. Manmohan Singh (Former Finance Minister). Ever since the initiation of the model of Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization Model (L.P.G.), a series of policy reforms have been made to open and integrate Indian economy with the rest of the world. Foreign investments have come under various sectors and there has been a steady growth in standard of living, per capita income, and the gross domestic product.
This seminar aims at studying, analyzing & interpreting the issues & challenges faced by Indian economy during last 25 years after the implementation of economic reforms. The seminar is organized with a view of having a comprehensive idea of the positive & negative effects of economic reforms on the growth rate of Indian economy
