About the trial advocacy competition
Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) is organizing its Second edition of JUS LEX National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2019. This Competition is based on the Trial procedures according to the Indian laws.
Date & Venue: August 16th – 18th, 2019 at Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Eligibility
Students of three year and five-year law degree courses from any University/Law School/College/Department are eligible to apply for registration of their team. No cross teams are allowed.
Team size
The maximum number of participants per team shall be restricted to Three (Two Speaker and a Researcher).
Registration Procedure
The teams must register themselves filling this google form latest by 8th August 2019. Participants will receive an acknowledgement-cum-approval as a confirmation of their registration & participation periodically after registration.
Once a registration is done, no change in the names will be possible.
However, in exceptional circumstances, if a change in name is inevitable, a fresh registration has to be made along with a scanned copy of the duly attested Registration Form from the college/institution/ university clearly explaining the reasons for the change and with authorized signatory & seal of the college/institution /university, before the last date of registration.
Fee Details
The participating teams are required to submit a Registration fee of Rs. 5,500/- (Five Thousand Five Hundred) by way of any NEFT/RTGS.

Travel plan
All the participating teams will be required to send a soft copy of the duly filed travel form on or before 12th August 2019 in the google form given for the memorial submission.
Accommodation and food
Accommodation and food shall be provided to the teams by the organizers from 16th August 2019 (10:00 am) to 18th August 2019 (3:00 pm).
All the facilities shall be provided only to the registered members of the teams and no additional member, parent, coaches, observer or faculty advisor shall be accommodated.
No pickup and drop off facility will be provided by the institution. The participants are requested to arrange their own transportation for the same.
