NILS INDIA BUSINESS LAW REVIEW (NIBLR) is a double blind, peer review.
The first issue of the law review will be published in August 2017. NIBLR shall adopt an open – access model to ensure outreach of legal scholarship to a worldwide audience.
This review attempts to serve as a forum for students and professionals in the field of law, to publish well researched, original papers focusing on facets of International Business Laws.
In a world of hyper-globalization and steadfast growth of commerce and business, understanding the general laws relating to businesses, both in the private and public law domain, has become paramount.
In keeping with the goals of the NILS, this review will be an avenue for individuals to become academically committed and legally skilled.
The Review will consist of a Board of Patrons, an Advisory Panel who will be responsible for setting the theme for each issue focusing on contemporary, multi-dimensional business law practices and a dedicated student run Editorial Committee who will ensure ingenuity and quality of articles, essays, case studies and book reviews worthy of being published.
NIBLR calls for Editors for the following position
1. Content Editors | Number of Posts – 04
CEs shall oversee review of manuscripts and select articles worthy of publication, for ex; article’s contribution to existing literature and are also responsible for major edits on submissions made. They shall also guide and co-ordinate with the author to help prepare a publishable article.
2. Technical Editors | Number of Posts – 02
TEs shall ensure consistency in Format of the work submitted, for eg; articles to follow British English spelling conventions, undertaking plagiarism checks, complying article with BlueBook style of Citation (20th Edition), ensuring consistency within the article as regards content and references.
3. Publications and Designs Editor | Number of Posts – 02
DEs shall Co-ordinate with the Editors to determine placement, design layout, structure and format of publication.
Eligibility
All law students who have completed first year of a five year law course / first year of a three year law course or are LLM Applicants from a university/college recognized by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to apply.
Students with past experience in publications and editing are strongly preferred.
