The Jammu and Kashmir Government has decided to setup a National Law University in the State on the pattern of NLISU Bangalore and NALSAR Hyderabad.
In this connection a high-level state delegation led by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Basharat Bukhari left for Bangalore and Hyderabad on Thursday to appraise in person the NLISU and NALSAR models to be adopted for proposed Law University in J&K.
The admission to proposed Law University in J&K would be done through a national level entrance test, however, there would be reserved seats for the students from the State, which would be purely on merit basis.
