FICCI in association with Intellectual Property Office (IPO) and Delhi University is organizing a IP Awareness Program in New Delhi for Students & Academia on 2nd November 2014 at Delhi University.
The objective of the program is to generate awareness and pique sensitivity towards IP rights amongst all relevant stakeholders.
The Program is aimed at inspiring creativity and innovation amongst the youth by equipping them with the knowledge of IP, rights vested in creator & innovator, modes of protecting IP and advantages of IP to individuals and entrepreneurs.
Key Highlights of the Program are as follows:-
1. Patinformatics- Experts shall train the students and academia in searching national & international databases for patents. Furthermore experts shall also educate the students on the patentability criteria in India and other countries.
2. IPO Database Search- IPO officials shall demonstrate searching the IPO Database effectively and efficiently utilizing the IPO websites.
3. Participation Certificates- All students and Academia Members shall be issues a participation certificate.
