Opportunity
The internship would give the interns the opportunity to work with public policy and governance experts such as PV Rajagopal (Ekta Parishad), Basavraj Patil (R.S.A.), Arif Mohd. Khan (Ex. Minister), Dr. P.K. Agrawal (I.A.S. (Retd.) and KN Govindacharya (National Thinker).
Internship Details
Interns would be expected to research on matters of public policy such as Memorandum of Procedure in appointment of Judges (High Courts and Supreme Court), release of undertrials as per Supreme Court directions, Judicial Reforms and overall governance in a broader perspective.
They would be expected to create reports based on the research which will be duly published.
Interns would also be a part of the overall project which is based on effective governance through public participation.
Qualifications
The candidates must have completed at least third year of law school.
Timings
Work hours are going to be flexible, with a focus on independence and creativity.
