Why are they asking only for Indian nationals?
This is discriminatory.
There are foreign students enrolled in Indian law schools. Similarly, Indian students are enrolled in law schools abroad, and they are free to apply for internships and jobs. Sometimes there are no student visa restrictions (as in the case of internships), and at other times the students have to comply with visa stipulations. It’s the same in India. Some foreign nationals work visa restrictions; others don’t.
All these firms crave international business. They need to in order to survive. Therefore, it’s highly hypocritical to try to get foreign law firms to set up shop here if you restrict internship and career prospects to your own people.
It’s bad business practice to get international projects, which you can’t get through your OWN efforts but through non-Indian collaborations, & then endeavor to reserve ALL the benefits for yourself.
Hai Neha, you need to contact them. They will not contact you.
