Youth for Humanity NGO is a Lucknow based Not-for-Profit & Non-Political Organization which works in bringing a change in the lives of underprivileged children, youth and women and promotes Creativity, Innovation, Peace, Harmony and Inclusive Development.

Internship description:

This is an opportunity to work with the NGO for its “Summer Safari’19” project to educate and bring a change in the lives of underprivileged children by organizing a fun-filled camp. We focus on providing basic education to children who are deprived of formal education and recreational activities due to lack of resources.

It involves activities for children like Yoga, Self-defense techniques, General Knowledge, Art and craft, Music, sports, etc. The main objective is to make the summer camp a memorable experience for the children and provide a platform to learn and strengthen their self-esteem.

The Interns would be required to volunteer for the given activities and prepare a plan for each day of the camp.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Selected Intern’s day to day responsibilities include:-

• Conducting field visits for the summer camp.
• Monitoring the proper functioning of activities for children.
• Reporting the progress of events to the administration.
• Arranging sponsorship for the event (if any).

Number of Interns required:

4 (four)

Location:

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Stipend:

These positions are unpaid. Certificate of completion shall be provided.

Duration of Internship:

1 month (1st June-30th June 2019)
