About the organisation
The Law Office of Jyoti B Singh is a research-based, solution-oriented boutique set-up providing niche legal services to financial institutions and corporate houses, in the field of insolvency, bankruptcy, banking & finance, debt resolution & security enforcement, corporate fraud, white-collar crimes and other civil and commercial disputes.
There are a total of three advocates in the office, including the founder Jyoti Singh. As a matter of office policy, there are only two internship slots for every month and hence, it is suggested that the interested candidates apply well in advance. As of now, the internship slots till July as well as for the months of November and December are full.

About internship
Research, assisting the advocates in the drafting of petitions/applications/notices and accompanying advocates to courts and tribunals for hearing. Since the office also focuses on strong knowledge management internally, the interns would also be required to summarize judgments and/or legislation (as the case may be) and present the same to the advocates regularly.

Who can apply?
Though students of 3rd year or above (for 5 year course) and 2nd year or above (for 3 year course) are preferred, a 2nd year student (for 5 year course) may also apply. The office would not entertain the applications of 1st year students, irrespective of their course.
Stipend
Subject to the performance during the internship, the stipend would be given to interns.
Duration of the internship?
Minimum one month, which is extendable subject to the performance of the intern and availability of slots
