About the advocate
Advocate M R Shamshad is a New Delhi based practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court of India as well as various High Courts in India. His area of practice is in the following fields of law:
- Litigation in Original, Appellate, Writ Jurisdictions
- Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

About the internship
The Chamber represents one of the parties in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case which is centered around a controversial piece of land in the Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, and is looking for diligent and hard-working interns who are conversant with Hindi and English languages and would be willing (rather, excited) to work on this landmark case.

Who can apply?
Any student pursuing law in any university in India, preferably in their 4th or 5th year in a 5-year LL.B. course, or in their 2nd or 3rd Year of their 3-year LL.B. course.
The candidate must have proficiency in Hindi and English language.
Stipend
Rs. 7,500/-
Duration of internship
1 month, extendable by 2 weeks if recommended.
