Asheeta Regidi is currently seeking one/two interns to assist her with her work. The work is research based and will be entirely online (remote internship). Applications are open for students with a keen interest in technology or privacy laws.
Work
The work is mainly research based and may include drafting assistance. Research assignments for this month will mainly relate to the following fields/topics :
- Technology law and policy (big data, IoT, net neutrality, cloud computing, etc.),
- Privacy and data protection laws including the GDPR,
- Financial technology laws, and
- Software licensing laws.
Eligibility
Looking for interns with a keen interest in technology laws in general. An interest in at least one of the areas listed above is essential. The internship will be entirely online and research based, so location of the student is not important. Knowledge of cyber laws is a plus but is not essential.
Application Procedure
Students must apply with a covering letter, CV and one page write-up on a topic of their choice, in any field relating to technology laws.

Tenure
Currently applications for December, 2018, for a period of one month are open. Tenure may be extended based on the intern’s performance.
