The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies a sister concern of the ILS Law College, was established in 1991 to promote research in law and to conduct courses in various laws; with a purpose to create a distinct quality legal culture amongst the Indian Community.
For Who?
Keeping in tune with our motto the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies is proposing to conduct a Course on Legislative Drafting for Students of Law, Academicians and Lawyers.
Aim
The purpose of the course is to promote an ethos amongst the participants about the necessity of drafting statutes in a clear, simple and easy to understand language.
Course Dates
We propose to commence the course form 27th January, 2017.
The course is conducted in part-time evening mode i.e. every two days a week.
The program runs over a period of approximately 7 weekends.
Resource Person
The resources person for the course are experts in the field for legislative drafting
To mention some of them;
Professor Ishwar Bhatt – National University of Juridical Sciences;
Professor NK Chakrabarti, Director, KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar.
