About the University

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first university established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act.

Name of the Courses

  • Integrated (Bachelor of Arts): (Bachelor of Law): BA LLB (5 Years)
  • Integrated (Bachelor of Business Administration): (Bachelor of Law): BBA LLB (5 Years)

Eligibility

Pass in 12th class or 10+2 CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and must have also passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

Note: Aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English.

Admission Criteria

All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Under Graduate, 2020 (CLAT – UG, 2020) that is conducted by National Law Universities on a rotational basis. The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit prepared on the basis of (CLAT – UG, 2020) Merit for its admissions.
