The Centre for Food Security and Agro Economy of Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is proud to announce ‘Ingrained’, the Ist National Essay Writing Competition 2013.
Open to all University students in India, this competition seeks to encourage creative thinking in the in the field of food security and agro economics and promote research and express the same through writings, art and photography.
About CFSAE
The Centre for Agriculture and Food Security, Gujarat National Law University aims to provide information infrastructure to the specific areas covered under Agriculture and Food security concerns and provide a forum of professionals representing the different stakeholders including farmers( both large and small), intermediaries, market, government, public partnership, foreign investment, research and patenting etc.
Themes for submission: Food Politics, Policies and Cultures: Exploring claims, controversies, positions, interests and values connected with food.
Prizes:
- First prize: Rs. 10,000
- Second prize : Rs. 5,000
- Third prize: Rs. 2,000
The winning essays may also be considered for publication by the Centre for Food Security and Agro Economy in accordance with its editorial policy.
Deadline:
The last date for submissions is on the 14th of April 2013. Soft copy submissions may be made to cfsae11@gnlu.ac.in . The essay must have a cover page containing the name of the participant, college, year, phone number and other contact details
