Global Energy Parliament (GEP) and the State Institute of Languages, Govt of Kerala are organising a “GEP All-India Students Energy Parliament” (AISEP) at the Old Assembly Hall, State Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram
Date

Who
AISEP 2016 welcomes students and faculties across all disciplines to assume the responsibility of parliamentarians.
The spirit of this parliament lies in encouraging the participants to engage in a fruitful discussion and formulate resolutions with regard to the concept of “Total Education”.
Aim
Our aim is to collectively pass Resolutions which include practical suggestions for reforms to Education.
The Resolutions will be submitted before the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, the Hon’ble Minister of Human Resources Development, the UNESCO and other important decision-makers and stakeholders.
Student and faculty members who join this parliament have an opportunity to be a part of this lobbying process throughout the year.
Participation
Any student or faculty member of a recognized college/university is eligible to participate in the AISEP’16.
We maintain a participant limit of 200 and registration is on the basis of first come, first served.
Submissions
Selected delegates are given an opportunity to present their submissions during the parliamentary sessions.
All interested candidates must draft a write up on “Total Education” in their field of choice.
The write-up must be sent via e-mail to sep@global-energy-parliament.net
Submission Deadline
On or before 12th February, 2016 for initial screening.

All cash prizes for the winners will be accompanied by a trophy and certificate.
All participants will receive participation certificate.
Registration

Participants must enroll individually and not in teams/groups.
An information pack on the Students Energy Parliament and a guide on writing submissions would be e-mailed to the registrants as part of the event docket.
Registration Deadline
Last date to register yourself is 8th February 2016.
Registration Fee
All participants would be required to pay a registration contribution of INR 1200/– at the time of registration.
The registration contribution is inclusive of Registration Kit, Lunch, High-Tea and Accommodation.
The registration contribution for participants not requiring accommodation would be INR 800/- only.
All participants are requested to mention their accommodation requirement in the registration form. The detailed participant docket comprising of all event material will be mailed to candidates after registration.
Event Venue
We are privileged to have the Old Assembly Hall, State Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, as the venue of the GEP All-India Students Energy Parliament 2016.
The Old Assembly Hall was used in previous times by Kerala State legislators and is now a Heritage Centre under protection by the Government.
Accommodation
Participants shall be put up at Hotel rooms. Accommodation will be provided by the organisers only for the night of 24th February 2015.
