About the Program

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) in collaboration with All India Law Teachers Congress is organising a Faculty Development Program.

Dates:14th -19th November 2019

The object of organizing this program is to provide a platform to our faculty members to deliberate on the contemporary developments in law and the challenges that lie ahead for them as teachers of the law.

Themes for the program

1. Law, Research And Development: Role Of Academia
2. Constitutional Challenges with respect to latest amendments- Article 370 and changing perspectives of India, Triple talaq: Is it a step towards gender justice and Right to Information and Transparency: Response of law.
3. Emerging Areas of Law: Some Glimpses, Space law, Insolvency law, Telecommunication/Real Estate law, Arbitration, Cyber and Sports law.
4. Teaching and Research in law: Ethics in teaching and research, Interdisciplinary approach in teaching and research, Teaching pedagogies and mentoring od students.
5. Engagement of Academia with Stakeholders: Policymakers, Think Tanks/Research Institutes, NGOs and work in life in work: What is better?
6. Resource and tools for research: Use of Open Resources and Library tools, preparing mocks and use of the Governmental Portal.

Registration Procedure

The Registration Fee for the Programme is Rs. 2,500/- which includes refreshments and lunch.

Note: The payment shall be made only through DD in the favour of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.

Deadline: The last date to Register is 10th November 2019.
