About the European Forum Alpbach
The European Forum Alpbach is an interdisciplinary platform for science, politics, business and culture. Established in 1945, the annual European Forum Alpbach and it’s events throughout the year address the relevant socio-political questions of our time. It connects international decision-makers from all sectors of society with an interested audience and committed young people. Its goal is to create a dialogue across the generational, ideological and other lines that divide us.
About the Opportunity
The European Forum Alpbach Foundation offers scholarships to about 650 students/young professionals from around the world to attend the Forum. Scholarships cover the cost of participation, accommodation, a daily living stipend and even a fixed travel allowance (in a few instances).
Dates: 19th August to 4th September 2020.
Applications open till 31st March 2020
Eligibility
- Youth under 30 years age, 35 years for youth from Africa.
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- Must be available to attend at least 12 days of the European Forum Alpbach.
Requirements
- A certificate from undergraduate studies institution indicating that the medium of instruction of the degree pursued or obtained is English or any valid, standard English test score indicating a language proficiency of B2 and above.
