Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University has been established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh vide an Ordinance dated 29 August, 2008 later replaced by U.P. Act No. 1 of 2009 and U.P. Act No. 24 of 2011.
The university envisions to set specific standards of teaching, research, public services especially in terms of empowerment of differently-abled persons. The university is continuously striving towards bringing professional degree programs with international standard of teaching and research.
Carrying forward the objectives of providing international standard teaching and research, the Internship & Placement Committee established the ‘Corporate Law Research Group’ under the patron-ship of Hon’ble Vice-chancellor of Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University.
The research group is dedicated to conduct fundamental and applied research on various issues of commercial conduct, regulation and monitoring.
The group has identified a stream of activities spread throughout an academic session out of which this ‘1st National Challenge Essay Competition’ shall mark the beginning of its initiatives.

The 1st National Challenge Essay Competition will be organized as per the following schedule:
1. Announcement of Competition : 01 January 2015
2. Last Date for Registration : 15 February 2015
3. Last Date for Submission of Essay : 20 March, 2015
4. Declaration of top 5 entries : 10 April, 2015
5. Challenge Rounds : 27 April, 2015
6. Declaration of Final Results : 05 May, 2015
7. Publication of Essays: July, 2015
