The University currently offers B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (Five years integrated programme), LL.M. (One year programme), Ph.D. and such other programme in accordance to such syllabus for each of the above courses as approved by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council.
The number of seats in each course shall be such as may be fixed from time to time by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Director .
The system of evaluation would be as per details given under:-
Evaluation of Sessionals (for 30 marks)
End Semester Examination and evaluation (for 70 marks)
The Credit System:
The credits, unless otherwise specified for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) shall be five for each courses.
The number of credits along with grade points that the student has satisfactorily completed measures the performance of the student. Satisfactory progress of a student is subject to his/ her maintaining a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), as well as minimum grades in different courses of the programme.
A certain number of credits, that may be specified by the Academic Council from time to time, must be earned by the student to qualify for the degree.

Location
Located in the South-West part of the Lucknow City, the University has 40 acres of sprawling campus in LDA’s Kanpur Road Scheme.
The Campus is a complete township having accommodation facilities for 1500 students and over 100 number of teaching and non-teaching staff members.
Distance from Amausi airport is 3.0 kilometres and from Lucknow railway station is nearly 7 kilometres. Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University are the other neighbouring educational institutes of higher education.
The District Court, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, Vidhan Sabha, Tribunals, are all in the radius of 10 km.

Adding glory to the 42 acres of clean and green campus of Dr. Ram Manohar National Law University, Lucknow an Olympic standard pool acquiring an area of 30×50 metres with a depth of 4.50 feet (shallow) and 18 feet (deep) was inaugurated on 2nd July, 2014 by Prof. Gurdip Singh Bahri, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow.
It has two spring diving boards of 1m and 3m in length respectively, separate hygienic shower rooms, the sparkling blue, clean and well maintained water of the pool proves to be a boon in the hot and scorching weather.
The Pool is maintained by security lifeguards and other essential staff. There are different time slots and a nominal fee as per the requirement.
