About: Intellectual Property (IP) has been a key factor in the growth of trade and commerce; companies and individuals have built vast empires on account of their creations, and it is in this context that IP now forms one of the most exciting and challenging facet of law.
At the same time there continue to be arenas where the significance of IP has not been fully tapped upon.
Through Baithak 2.0, we seek to shed light on these, as well as break down the formal spaces within which law has been confined, and bring the legal fraternity in an open, fluid conversation.
Organised for law students, the session aims to bring legal discourse out of its traditional, formal confines, and establish a semi-formal, conversational forum to address the intersection of intellectual property with related streams of law.
